I was helping my mom clean out a drawer when I was 8 when we found her old 126 film camera from the 1960s. She loaded it with the film and let me take a portrait of her outside. I was instantly hooked on photography. Over the years, it came and went as a hobby. When digital came around, I dove in deep and started taking portraits again. I love capturing a moment or a feeling, or an expression. I think it is one of the biggest compliments, as a photographer, to hear 'You captured their personality' from a client's relative or friend.
